Summer Youth/Young Adult Business Incubator Key Highlights:
7 Business Licenses Issued: Equipping participants with the official credentials to start their businesses.
$7,000 in Seed Funding Awarded: Providing crucial financial support to help launch their ventures.
Comprehensive Workshops: Covering essential entrepreneurial skills, from business management to customer service.
We partnered with the Entrepreneurship Community & Cultural Office to offer the Business Incubator Program to aspiring BIPOC youth and young adult entrepreneurs from our community. Throughout the program, participants engaged in a variety of workshops covering essential topics such as Business Management, Marketing, Branding, and Financial Literacy. They also gained insights into the Legal Aspects of running a business and honed their Pitching and Presentation Skills. The program fostered Networking and Relationship Building, along with strategies for Customer Service and Retention, providing a comprehensive foundation for our young emerging entrepreneurs to thrive.
