In 2023, BCG took a significant step towards environmental empowerment by partnering with the esteemed EarthCorps to expand our environmental programming. Guided by our dedicated environmental community specialist, we embarked on a mission to empower BIPOC communities through environmental stewardship and sustainable practices.
Our journey began with community clean-up drives that not only beautified neighborhoods but also fostered a sense of collective responsibility. Sustainability workshops became a cornerstone of our initiatives, equipping community members with the knowledge and tools to adopt eco-friendly habits. Additionally, we supported urban gardening projects, transforming unused spaces into thriving green areas that provide fresh produce and a sense of accomplishment.
